As it relates to all central networking subjects -
we have been a Cisco Professional Services
Partner for 6 years. We have had a long history of
success in designing new systems of varied and complex
types, as well as, analyzing and auditing networks
that have been installed previously.
We presently have the following Cisco credentials:
Staff CCNAs and CCNPs.Our CCNAs are utilized to
manage simple routed LANs or WANs, and switched
LAN or LANE environments. Our CCNPs configure, operate,
and troubleshoot more complex routed LANs, routed
WANs, switched LAN networks, or Dial Access Services.
We are experienced in most of the Cisco family of
routers, including the 7000 series in ISP environments,
as well as 3000 and 2000 series. As our primary
customer base is based on LAN environments averaging
200 users, we prefer the 2000 and 3000 series products.
In fact, we are support over one hundred managed
networks utilizing 2600 and 3600 series routers.
This is for all levels of secure data access including
routing, remote access and telecommuting solutions,
DSL satellite office integration, T1 and frame relay.
Further, we are adept at integrating Cisco products
into existing LAN/WAN environments where interoperability
presents enormous challenges.
For satellite offices we recommend 1600’s,
1700’s, and 800’s to bring Internet
access and VPN access to the LAN environment. We
do field work for various Telco’s in California
and install many Cisco 1700’s in conjunction
with subscriptions to Internet services from ISPs.
We are also versed in switching products, both for
commercial and healthcare enterprise clients. For
example, in a Level 2 environment, we support 6509,
5000, and 2900 series products matched to ILS trunking
protocols. We implement the subnets with VLANs.
We are familiar with the challenges of Level 3 routing
in Enterprise Networking and have worked with Cisco’s
8450 core routers to bring data services to a campus
environment from both backbone providers and private
data and telecommunications networks.
Security products include the PIX family of Firewalls,
as well as Firewall enabled IOS. We support VPN
solutions for mobile users with 3DES (and other
levels of encryption). While we are familiar with
the 535 and 525 series, predominantly we see the
515 and 506, as we truly only support up to 5000
simultaneous connections.
Other products we support are in the dynamic Voice
Over IP realm. We have installed and supported many
VG200’s matched with 7800 call managers, in
a new construction environment, with 7960 handsets.
Furthermore, we utilized TAPI services and MAPI
services to tie Enterprise Messaging to the VOIP
services.
Finally, in 2002 we were introduced to Aironet Wireless
products and enjoyed a significant deployment for
commercial clients. We matched Cisco’s gateways
to compatible PCMCIA interface products as well
as Cisco’s own, to fulfill specific requirements
for seamless installations and management.
